Set on a plateau above the river Danube we found a perfect piece of nature, to awaken our senses and harmonize our bodies. The beautiful view of the river and Šarengradska ada (island). The Danube is the country road through Europe. Anyone wanting to spend their holidays away from urban life should come to our modern house in the rural area, settled on one of the slopes of Fruška gora mountain. The house called Veranda (porch) is located 2 minutes away from the entrance of Šarengrad (on the way from Vukovar to Ilok, on Eurovelo route 6), surrounded by vineyards. 

The house is very modern and decorated with wooden furniture (Slavonian oak), made by a local carpenter. Our vision of life is to live with nature and to respect it. On the property, there is a generator that serves as a power supply (instead of an electrical network). On the first floor, there is a bathroom, kitchen with a living room and a terrace with a view of the Danube. 

Climbing up the wooden stairs you will reach the first floor with the second bathroom and a spacious bedroom that has one master bed and a guest bed. This room has a magical view of the island, nature, and the river. 

The property offers free use of bikes and is located right on the EuroVelo 6 route. The house is surrounded by a vegetable garden, which guests can freely pick from.

Ilok is 12 km from Veranda Country House. The nearest airport is Osijek Airport, 48 km from Country House Veranda.
